In Denmark, it is mandatory to use either an electronic parking watch or a manual parking device such as the one shown. Always set your time of arrival upon leaving the vehicle. Please be aware that violations may result in substantial fines of up to €120.

Parking in Roskilde City Center (inside the red line)

To park in the municipal areas of Roskilde city center, you are required to register your vehicle upon arrival using either a vending machine or a designated mobile application. The first two hours of parking are complimentary, with the option to purchase additional time as needed. Please utilize the GREEN parking zones, which are designated as secure; registration is mandatory upon parking. We recommend using the EasyPark app for convenient registration.

Be aware that certain parking areas within the city center are privately managed and subject to different regulations. These locations are clearly marked with black signage at the parking lots and indicated in light blue on the accompanying map.

For municipal parking spaces, registration is required during the following hours:

• Weekdays: 08:00 – 18:00
• Saturdays: 08:00 – 14:00

Outside of these periods, registration and payment are not necessary.

Parking wardens monitor vehicles by checking license plates. At vending machines, you must register your vehicle and pay for the intended duration of stay. The supported mobile applications include: EASYPARK, PARKPARK, PARKMAN, and PARKONE.
